It’s a great tool…and it’s a terrible tool.
One of a multitude of video submission software, VideoWildfire is intended to make putting videos onto many different video sharing websites on the Internet an automatic process. Internet-based video is increasing in popularity, and companies are starting to realize that such videos can greatly enhance their online marketing techniques.
Articles that contain content regarding the benefits of putting your videos on You Tube in order to become famous and make a lot of money, are increasing in number every day.
However, they all appear to be produced by an identical video recorder that doesn’t seem to care about quality. Making sure the video is top-notch is not a priority. But, a major issue with putting your video on You Tube is you do not know if your intended audience is even going to view it.
The articles tell you to link your video to your website and you will get all the traffic you want. WHAT!? Can anyone else see just how stupid this suggestion is? Your video has just one main function. To get more visitors to your website. To tell people how to get to your website.
However, if you want people to view your video, they have to go to your website. But they would have to know about your website before they can know about your video.
In that case, they wouldn’t need to view your video because they already know about you. You want to market a video that is all about your business. Why wouldn’t you simply market your business? You have to get your video out there without your intervention.
What’s great about Internet-based video is that the search engines can have it listed in only a few hours, and it will show up on the first page in as little as a day. But that will only happen if the video is put out on many different video websites. This is the point where video submission software can be a vital component of your online advertising plan.
VideoWildfire gives you the ability to put your video onto more than 50 video websites, 25 social networking websites, and 10 social information websites. And it does this all automatically. You only have to click one button to put your video onto all three of these outlets.

In addition, you can manually put your video onto more than 100 other video websites. You do need to know that I only put my videos onto approximately 25 video websites, since a lot of the other websites mentioned on Video Wildfire do not allow videos meant for advertisement.
Video Wildfire and other video submission software systems will not let you know that certain websites do not allow promotional material to be posted on their sites. It is important for you to realize that just because they say you can post to a specific number of websites doesn’t mean that you will actually be able to do so. Read the rules of every website prior to uploading your video.
Putting my videos onto only 25 websites has not meant that my business has suffered. Currently one of my videos is the first one on a results list of 115 million hits, and in certain other places, I currently have several results on the first page. Making sure that your video is optimized is essential, because this is how search engines rate your material.
I do have one concern with Video Wildfire: it is not fast at all. Video Wildfire operates directly from your computer, and while my computer employs a normal DSL connection, it still takes a few hours to put my video onto all of the websites. Fortunately, I own more PCs that I can use while the program is running.
Interestingly, when I questioned Video Wildfire’s excellent support team about this particular issue, they advised me to work on another PC during the submission period.
So once you begin putting the videos onto sites, you might want to run a few errands or go for a workout, since you won’t be able to use your computer for awhile. You can also upload your videos when you’re sleeping, or when you’re not busy, or you can work on a different system.
VideoWildfire is very dependable, and I think the system is just awesome. You can try the program for 7 days at no charge. After this time, it costs $20 every month. This is an excellent price for video submission software, and Video Wildfire needs to be a part of your online marketing strategy.
